Photo Gallery: State-of-the-Art Teaching Building at Colleton River

Oct 4, 2020 | News

Above is a view of Colleton River’s expertly designed teaching building. Additional photos below show the structure under construction, along with some interior shots that take you inside to the hitting bays and customized office space for the director of instruction.  The entire cost of the project was $550,000. The adjacent 6-hole course had been in use long before the Learning Center was designed. In fact, that Bruce Borland-designed practice loop had started out as nine holes (each 170 yards or shorter) before three of them were repurposed to build the new short-game practice acreage.

Don’t forget, you can always go to the Teaching Buildings section on the members’ website homepage for access to nearly 500 teaching building photos from around the world.
