What: PGA of America offers 3 Levels of Education / Certification.
1 – Specialized Professional Program
- Must be a PGA Member.
- Must complete education courses customized to your career path (Teaching and Coaching, Golf Operations, or Executive Management).
- Complete 10 elective courses from 100.
- Submit Capstone Project.
2 – Certified Professional Program
- Must complete Specialized Program first.
- 5 years of PGA Membership.
- 5 years of experience in your job on selected career path.
- Earn 250 career path hours.
- Serve as an advisor to 3 members in the Specialized Program.
- Submit Capstone Project.
3 – Master Professional Program
- Must complete Specialized Professional Program and the Certified Professional Program.
- 10 years of PGA Membership.
- 10 years of job experience on your selected career path.
- Serve as advisor to 5 members in the Certified Professional Program.
- Submit Capstone Project.
