What:  The Operation 36 Certification is designed to help coaches jumpstart the growth of long-term learning environments around the world. We believe these environments are the best way to grow the game because it provides youth with a fun way to become a skilled golfer, increases visits to facilities, and is a profitable platform for coaches. With these environments, we believe we can create a Junior Golf Coach position at every facility in the world and ultimately grow the game.

Operation 36 provides a programming road map and social technology platform that will progress juniors toward shooting par or better, on and off the course. The program leverages Playing, Coaching, and Practice programming, a long-term curriculum, and a custom social mobile app that has been proven to develop skilled, life-long golfers. The curriculum consists of 6 levels, with 12 objectives in each level that juniors must demonstrate to their coach to advance in rank. The core of the programming are the Operation 36 Matches where juniors are challenged to shoot par or better starting at 25 yards from the hole. This ensures that the juniors experience on the course, is a fun and engaging challenge point, which ultimately sets the foundation for growth and skill development.

Coaches are provided with a turn-key program that can be launched in under a week at the facility. The program is scalable to work with any facility’s needs and can be delivered as little as an 8 week program and in upwards of 52 weeks a year! Academy Templates, Support Videos, and Coach Support are all provided with a setup guide on the Operation 36 Membership website, which is continually updated with the latest resources and best practices from other coaches in the network. The junior’s progress is tracked on their Op 36 bag tag with badges as well as in the Operation 36 Mobile App Community, where they will earn points and move up and down your custom facility leaderboard.

This certification is not for everyone – rather it is aimed at those who are ‘passionate’ about improving their knowledge, growing a profitable coaching business, and developing skilled life-long golfers. Coaches who complete the Level 1 Certification will have a detailed plan on how to create and launch their own long-term learning environment, or they can register their facility and use the Operation 36 platform. If you are passionate about developing skilled golfers, come join the community of coaches, juniors, parents, and facilities working towards shooting par or better on and off the golf course.
